THE LUTHERAN HOUR – How did Christianity become the

dominant faith of Western civilization? It’s partly arithmetic,

but mostly, isn’t. (Luke 24:48)

Hear Speaker of The Lutheran Hour:

Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler’s Message:

Can I Get a Witness?”

On WPMB at 12:05 or KFUO at 12:30 or 5pm.

HOLY COMMUNION

Please note that we commune only those who are communicant members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Although we long to share this precious gift with you, we also recognize that where one receives the Sacrament outwardly, this also identifies that person’s confession of faith. If you desire to learn more

about our beliefs, pleases speak to Pastor.

Rodger, Joe Deppe, Melody, Bruce Robb,

Easter Egg Hunt following the service this morning.

EASTER LILIES & FLOWERS

All flowers are $6.00 each.

The offering next Sunday, April 24th is designated to

Building Fund.

This offering will go toward brick work on the ramp.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57

51Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep,

but we shall all be changed, 52in a moment, in the

twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet

will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable,

and we shall be changed. 53For this perishable body must

put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54When the perishable puts on the imperishable,

and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass

the saying that is written:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55 “O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?”

56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed & Happy Easter to All
